⚔️ Community Outreach

Our community outreach is where our mission comes to life.

At the Avenger Foundation, we are committed to meeting people where they are—bringing hope, support, and connection to those navigating life’s hardest moments.

Through our annual 5K events, we raise awareness, build unity, and remind people they are not alone in their journey. Our grief support gatherings create safe, compassionate spaces for those who have lost loved ones, offering comfort and community in times of deep pain.

We host awareness events to break stigma and start meaningful conversations around mental health, while our resiliency training and events equip individuals with the tools to face life’s challenges with strength and faith.

We also invest in the future through scholarship programs, and extend direct support by giving to families in need—providing practical help during difficult seasons.

Every initiative is rooted in one purpose: to bring hope, healing, and support to those who need it most.

This is more than outreach—it’s a community standing together, lifting one another up, and making a lasting impact.

🛡️ Together, we stand. Together, we defend.

Annual Defenders of Mental Health 5K

Our annual Avenger 5K is more than just a race-it's a powerful gathering of community, purpose, and hope.

Each year, individuals and families come together to raise awareness for mental health, support suicide survivors, and stand in unity for those who may be struggling. This event creates a space where conversations are encouraged, stories are shared, and people are reminded that they are not alone.

Through the Avenger 5K, we not only bring awareness to mental health, but we also help fund our outreach efforts, support programs, and initiatives that provide real impact in the lives of others.

Ghost Pirate Fundraiser

We are honored to partner with the Savannah Ghost Pirates in our mission to raise awareness and support for Mental Health.  25% of the proceeds of our ticket sales will be donated to our foundation. Through this partnership, we are able to expand our fundraising efforts, reach new audiences, and bring our message of hope and healing into the community in powerful ways.

2026-2027 Game TBD

Awareness Games

We have teamed up with many middle and high school sports teams in the month of September, which is known as National Suicide Prevention Month.  With the help of our community we were able to reach more than 300 athletes and thousands of fans to spread a message of hope, encouragement and support for any and all that have been affected by suicide.

We are currently looking for opportunities to partner with our local schools for Suicide Awareness Games for fall sports and for Mental Health Awareness Games in May for spring sports. If you are interested in partnering with us in these efforts please contact us here.

Grief Support Gatherings: Healing after Suicide Loss

Our Grief Support Gathering is a faith-based outreach created for families and friends who have lost a loved one to suicide. We recognize that this kind of loss carries a unique and often overwhelming grief-one that can feel isolating, complex, and difficult to navigate alone.

This gathering is designed to be a safe, compassionate space where individuals can come just as they are. Whether you feel ready to share your story, sit quietly, or simply be surrounded by others who understand, you are welcome here. There is no pressure-only support, understanding, and grace.

Through gentle conversation, moments of reflection, and faith-centered encouragement, we seek to provide comfort, connection, and hope.  Participants are invited to honor the memory of their loved ones, express their emotions freely, and begin to process their grief in a supportive community.

We believe that healing happens in connection- with God and with one another. Our goal is to walk alongside those who are hurting, reminding them that they are not alone and that their grief matters.

This outreach is open to anyone impacted by suicide loss, regardless of where they are in their journey.

Giving Back

In addition to community outreach we are passionate about being able to give back to community. It is at the heart of what we do. Through our scholarship program, we invest in local students-encouraging the next generation to rise with strength, purpose, and hope.  We also provide financial assistance to surviving families, offering support during some of life's most difficult moments. Every act of giving is a reminder that no is alone, and that together we can make a lasting impact in the lives of others.l

If you know someone who is in need of financial assistance due to a tragic event please reach out to our team to inquire about potential donations.
