Dave Wilson is a highly decorated United States Army combat veteran with 26 years of distinguished service, including 19 years within the elite 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment. As Treasurer of the foundation, Dave brings a deep personal connection to the mission through his lifelong friendship and brotherhood with SGT Brett Morris, forged through years of military service and combat deployments together. His passion for supporting veterans, military families, and honoring Brett's legacy will make a meaningful impact within the foundation and community.

Dave Wilson is a highly decorated combat veteran of the United States Army, bringing 26 years of distinguished service to his role as Treasurer for the Brett J. Morris Avenger Foundation. His deep personal connection to the foundation’s mission is rooted in a lifelong brotherhood; Brett was Dave's best friend, whom he had known since 1999. Together, they navigated the trials of multiple combat deployments, forging an unbreakable bond that continues to inspire Dave’s work today.
Dave's unwavering commitment to his country is exemplified by 14 combat tours in Afghanistan and Iraq, where his leadership and bravery earned him the Bronze Star and multiple Air Medals. For 19 of his 26 years in service, Dave operated at the tip of the spear within the U.S. Army's Special Operations Forces (SOF) as part of the elite 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment. This extensive experience in high-stakes environments forged a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by service members, veterans, and their families. This commitment to families was further demonstrated through his sensitive service as an Army Casualty Notification Officer and Casualty Assistance Officer, providing critical support to military families during their most difficult moments.
For Dave, serving as Treasurer and being a part of the Brett J. Morris Avenger Foundation is more than a duty it is a deeply personal calling.
